Originally, The Hotel had thirteen very small sleeping rooms upstairs for weary miners with a Great Room downstairs for meals.  Today there are five bedrooms, four baths, a lobby, the large kitchen and a Social Room added by community members in 1934. Now as then the Hotel cares for the weary and the hungry.

In the early 1930s the Eldora community came together to create a club room for those who contributed funds for construction and dues for its operation.  This Social Room at The Goldminer Hotel is used today for local community meetings, educational programs reminiscent of Chautauqua, potlucks; all of those activities of a small town.

The front of the first floor is a sitting room and lobby

The back of the Hotel on this floor is the large farm type kitchen
